  • Police report (Hot Springs Village Voice)
    May 14 - A deer ran into an eastbound 2007 Ford Mustang in DeSoto Blvd. Damage: $500. The doe died. A Hot Springs Village ambulance scraped paint on the bumper of a 2003 Honda Pilot near Coronado tennis courts. A witness said the Pilot was parked at least two feet into the traffic lane, and the ambulance driver tried hard to miss it. Damage: $500 Honda; $300 ambulance.


  • Car crash kills Boones Mill teen (Roanoke Times)
    A Boones Mill teen died in a car wreck Tuesday in Rocky Mount, a Virginia State Police spokesman said. Bryan P. White Jr., 16, was a passenger in a 2007 Ford Mustang that crashed on Virginia 919, near business U.S. 220, said state police spokesman Sgt. Bob Carpentieri.
